A certified refurbished laptop is a pre-owned machine that our own technicians have tested, repaired where needed, cleaned and certified before sale. At LapItUp every refurbished device passes a multi-point hardware check covering the screen, keyboard, battery, storage, memory and ports. It is then graded honestly by cosmetic condition and sold with a 1-year warranty — so you get a business-grade machine at up to 50% less than buying new.

A second-hand laptop is sold as-is, with no checks and no warranty. A certified refurbished laptop from LapItUp is tested component by component, repaired or upgraded where needed, wiped clean and graded. If anything fails our checks, the machine does not go on sale. Every refurbished device we sell carries a 1-year warranty, which a private used-laptop sale simply cannot offer you.

Open-box laptops are essentially new machines whose box has been opened — for example display units, cancelled orders or damaged-packaging stock. They have little or no usage, usually carry the remaining brand warranty, and are priced lower than sealed units. At LapItUp we check every open-box unit before listing it and tell you exactly why the box was opened, so you know precisely what you are buying.

Grades describe cosmetic condition only — every grade passes the same hardware tests. Grade A is excellent: minimal signs of use, like new in performance. Grade B is good: light cosmetic marks that do not affect how the machine works. Grade C shows visible wear, is fully tested, and is priced accordingly for the biggest savings. The grade is always shown on the product page before you buy.

Every certified refurbished laptop comes with a compatible charger, a fresh genuine operating system installation, and our 1-year warranty. The machine is fully tested, cleaned and ready to use out of the box. If you need a bag, mouse, extra RAM or a larger SSD, we can add those at a bundled price — just mention it on WhatsApp or when you visit our Salt Lake experience centre.

Every certified refurbished product from LapItUp carries a 1-year warranty. It covers hardware failures under normal use — if something stops working, bring it to us or message us and we will repair or replace it. The warranty is handled by our own Salt Lake team, so you never have to chase a brand service centre. Consumables like batteries are covered against defects at the time of sale.
